About This Range
With these 6 barrels of Caol Ila from the Islay region, we are showing a day of the ladies at the Han Palace drawn by Qiu Ying from the Ming Dynasty. Similar to Along the River, it is a handrolled drawn with ink and heavy colour on silk. By nose you get the rich and intense barley aroma, along with the light floral touch to accompany the smoky notes from Caol Ila. With rather fruity balanced smoke touches palate, these Caol Ila also finish with a complex sweetness, notes of vanilla and toffee.
